Chairman's message

Dear visitors,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Cyprus Wushu Kung Fu Federation, an online portal where we can keep in touch and be connected by social media, to share our passion for Wushu Kung Fu. I hope that you will take a few minutes to browse through the individual pages and get to learn a bit more about us.

It is an honour to serve as Chairman of this Federation and to be part of a structured effort to further promote the sport of Wushu Kung Fu, under the auspices of the International Wushu Kung Fu Federation (IWUF) and the Wushu Kungfu Federation of Europe (WKFE).

My vision is to ultimately see Wushu Kung Fu being accepted and fully recognised as an Olympic sport. With my recent appointment as a Member of the Advisory Expert Panel of IWUF as an expert of Wing Chun and Chairman of the WKFE Wing Chun / Yong Chun Committee, and with the help of IWUF and WKFE, this bold vision can be achieved! 

There is much work to do, at the national, European continental and global level, and in close coordination with the Chairpersons of the other National Federations of WKFE whom I list below, we, as a National Federation, are working  hard and are hopeful that Wushu Kung Fu will expand its reach across the continent and far beyond!
