The International Wushu Kung Fu Federation (IWUF), established on October 3rd, 1990, is the International Federation (IF) that governs wushu in all its forms world-wide. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the sole worldwide governing authority for Wushu in all its forms.

The Wushu Kungfu Federation of Europe  (WKFE) is the officially recognized European Continental Federation for Wushu. The Founding Congress was held in Switzerland on June 26th, 2023, with the attending 39 members forming its founding membership. Official recognition was given to the WKFE by the International Wushu Kung Fu Federation (IWUF) on September 21st, 2023.

 The Cyprus Olympic Committee (COC) was founded in 1974 in Nicosia and five years later, in 1979, during the 81st Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), it became a full member of the IOC. In its more than four decades of operation, COC activity has expanded to many areas and its contribution to the sports and culture of our country has been valuable and decisive. 

 In 1969, the Cyprus Sports Organization (CSO) was founded as  a Semi-Governmental Organization and is the Supreme Authority in the Republic of Cyprus for extracurricular sports. The main goals are the development of extracurricular sports, the coordination of the sports life of our country, the cultivation of the Olympic ideal and the promotion of Cyprus in the international sports arena.
